
I love comfort food in the winter time- and thanks to my mother-in-law's penchant for crock pot cooking, I have discovered a whole new realm of it. I'm German by descent- actually, dad came over on the big boat, so I'm first generation American- and I lived in Munich for a couple of years, so my go-to food is usually of the German variety.
Today's menu consisted of sausages and kraut- stuck 'em in the crock pot, covered them in beer (of course) and ate them with a pretzel roll and good mustard. YUM!
